If you’re a fan of delicious food, you probably know Guy Fieri — the boisterous, bubbly host of the hit Food Network television show “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.” Since 2007, Guy has traveled across America visiting small, out-of-the-way places to find all of the best foods. Instead of focusing on stuffy traditional food, though, Guy Fieri is looking for the foods that normal Americans eat, the foods that make us think of home, the foods we’ve loved since we were kids. And boy oh boy, does he find them!
While he is most well-known for his adventures showing off some of the best foods in America on his TV show, Guy Fieri is also a chef and restaurateur whose restaurants are dotted across the country from California to New York. Recently, he approached Southern Dimensions Group to build a new, fully custom food truck. We couldn’t say ‘yes’ fast enough! Check out a few pictures of his great new mobile food trailer below!
A New Food Truck from SDG
Whether you’re a seasoned chef or you’ve been thinking about striking out on your own for the first time, there is no better way to do it than with a new mobile food trailer from Southern Dimensions Group! For years, we have worked with restaurateurs who want a mobile kitchen space that meets all of their needs. We start each custom project by asking a lot of questions and listening to your plans. What will you be cooking? How many people are on your team? Where will you most often be setting up to sell your food? Do you have equipment preferences?
After we know what you need, we begin the hard work of designing a mobile food trailer that incorporates all of your preferred equipment and your ideal setup. After the initial mockup, we discuss what is or isn’t working for you, and refine until it is just right.
Once the final design is approved, our team of incredible builders then sets to work building your new trailer from the ground up. We start by using the materials that we know will work best to provide strength and stability without adding unnecessary weight for the frame, and then we build your kitchen on top of that. Once again, you have your choice of how your kitchen is set up, and what materials we use. If you aren’t sure what the best options are, we’re happy to let you know what we know works best.
After the build is complete, we install the appliances and check to make sure everything works properly, and then we can further customize your new mobile food trailer with a sweet paint job! When you take delivery of your BBQ trailer, it will be ready to cook!
